Sofinol SA is part of the Nestlé Group and produces Special Oils for the Food and Personal care industry.
In order to strengthen our Engineering Department in Manno, Ticino, we are currently seeking for a brilliant Project Engineer directly reporting to the Factory Engineer and indirectly reporting to the Factory Manager.
This position is a great combination of technical, financial, organizational and interpersonal skills within a wide range of different internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing and/or performing the design, implementation and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, within the defined scope of responsibility or specialisation.
• Ensuring that the objectives of the investment project charter, design specifications and Nestlé standards are implemented and adhered to.
• Periodic Reporting to Factory and Market on ongoing Projects.
• Management of Industrial Processes and Industrial Services.
• Technical Engineering Master Degree ideally specializing in Mechanics, Automation or Chemistry (Industrial, Thermodynamics, Electrotechnics as a plus).
• 5 + years of work experience in End to End Project management for Industrial Projects (e.g buildings, equipment , piping, utilities), specifically in commissioning of new plants/processes technology
• Fluent English and Italian is a must have and at least one other national language (German and/or French).
• Knowledge of HACCP/GMP, SUVA safety regulations and environmental protection ones (e.g. noxious emissions, water protection).
• Strong work ethic, integrity, proactive cooperation, openness, curiosity and continuous improvement mindset are able to create a perfect combination for this strategic figure.
• Ability to understand and unpdate documentation related to the industrial plants.
• Availability of travelling for short periods of time (about 10% of working time), mainly within Switzerland (in other Nestlè branches, to visit suppliers, to follow trainings).
