For the technical support of our business in the United States and Canada we are
seeking for a highly motivated and self-driven US citizen or Green Card Holder who
is ready to ensure an outstanding technical service for Swisspearl® projects across
the continent. In your function as

Technical Field Representative

you will be part of our export team and will report directly to our Area Manager North
America. Initially the job holder will work from his/her home office in the US, being
located near an airport with excellent connections throughout the US and Canada.

Your major tasks

• Ensuring that Swisspearl® Distributors, architects and installers are using
  application technology correctly through professional advisory


• Ongoing verification of façade drawings in terms of compliance with
  Swisspearl® installation standards. Proposal of suitable corrective measures
  where necessary


• Approval of rejection of Swisspearl® letter of warranty


• Elaboration of technical details in cooperation with technical service from
  Swiss HQ


• Creation of CAD drawings for project specific solutions


• Responsible for technical documentation in close cooperation with R&D and
  technical service from Swiss HQ


• Initiation of feasibility studies for specific requests


• Technical training for distributors and installers


• Frequent travel throughout the US and Canada required

Your profile

• Technical background (engineer, site manager, façade installer etc.)




• Additional commercial background would be a plus




• Experience from technical services, site management, architectural scene




• Self-starter, hands-on personality with sound understanding of architectural
  scene




• Good coaching skills, and knowledge of large construction sites




• Open mindedness, friendly personality, fun to work with




• Excellent coaching and negotiation skills, natural authority




• Minimum three years sales & marketing experience, preferably within
  construction industry
