What are we looking for?


As a Quality Auditor you will ensure the conformity and quality of externally sourced materials and services (analytical and other) for our API production. You will be part of a young team within Central Function Quality (based at the headquarters in Switzerland) working in close collaboration with colleagues from other sites. Your responsibilities as lead auditor include the preparation, performance and follow-up of audits of suppliers, analytical contract labs, and other service providers. Together with our procurement department and contract management you will also ensure that appropriate quality agreements are in place.


 


What do we expect from you?



  • Master or PhD degree in life sciences or pharmacy

  • Profound knowledge in Organic Chemistry

  • 2 years of GMP experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing, preferably with APIs

  • Excellent knowledge of the GMP requirements for APIs and for API raw materials

  • Good knowledge of the GMP requirements for the analytical testing of APIs

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English

  • Dedicated, self-dependent personality, finding it easy to cope with an intercultural working environment

  • Willingness to travel in Europe including approximately 10% intercontinental travel (mainly Southeast Asia and USA)


 


Nice to have


Certified training as lead auditor or auditing experience would be additional assets but can also be acquired on the job.
