We currently have an exciting opportunity for a self-starter and data-driven Head of Product, to join and manage the product team : This is a unique opportunity to be a product leader in a high-paced startup innovating in a critical area of the technology world. You will be working with a  talented team to determine the product strategy and to constantly adapt it.


Role and Responsibilities :


Own and manage all aspects of the product development, including market assessment, customer demand, pricing strategy, product development process, go-to-market and continuous integration.



  • Can nail the basics: write exceptional user stories, sketch a wireframe, produce a roadmap, drive a release schedule

  • Conducts thorough competitive research and produces a clear competitive landscape picture with plan of action for influencing strategic product planning.

  • Define and implement a technical product roadmap while identifying new market/business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the geospatial industry.

  • Bring new products to market : define the business and marketing strategies for turning first time users into loyal repeat customers

  • Establish clear business, marketing and customer success metrics and drive product efforts that will achieve them

  • Analyzing customer and prospect behaviour, conversion data, customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution

  • Performing ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns as well as of new features

  • Gathers voice of the customer and accumulates market knowledge of key targeted segments and competitive offerings.

  • Engage UX on Concept Work, Wireframes, Comps and Prototypes

  • Participate in Release & Spring Planning

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional events


Qualifications


 



  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management within the geospatial industry, preferably in the  downstream and data analytics segments (SaaS, Web-GIS/ mapping)

  • Hands-on experience in managing the development of  machine-learning based geospatial digital products (sofware, SaaS)

  • Solid technical background in Computer Science and as a developer (API,PL/Python, C++, SQL) 

  • Strong knowledge of geospatial, GIS and remote-sensing technologies

  • Native English or fluent (C-Level), good command of French and/or German is a plus
