We are looking for a committed and passionate system engineer (m/f/d), with expertise in railroad vehicle engineering. In this challenging role, you will work in an international engineering team and design electrical systems for global vehicle retrofit projects. You will be involved from the very first project kick-off until successful homologation of the vehicles.

Your responsibilities

• Generate Technical concepts, documentation and design of electrical vehicle systems


• Collaborate globally with other teams and team members in Engineering


• Ensure the end-product fulfills all normative and customer requirements


• Generate input and coordinate with the schematic and 3d modelling teams


• Liaison with customers and suppliers


• Supervise suppliers and perform inspections


• Perform FMEAs


• Create reliability data of the respective system


• Generate technical documents


• Perform commissioning and testing on site


• Support and facilitate technical collaboration in case of critical issues at customer sites


• Prioritize, track and manage your tasks with the priorities given by the project management

Your background

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering


• At least 3 years work experience in the railway industry


• Desire to work within an international team environment


• Strong level of self-motivation and structured approach to work


• Hands on approach


• Creativity and pragmatism when performing engineering work


• Excellent command of English (C1) or German (C1)
