The role


We are looking for a self-motivated allrounder who is passionate to help us to further advance our world-class commercial organization at Genioo. As aBusiness Development Associate, your primary mission is to provide direct support to the commercial leaders who drive revenue for the company. To do so, you will work with our Key Account Team to facilitate sales productivity and work with commercial leadership to track sales goals to plan. After a ramp-up period during which you will learn about our business and processes, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of Genioo.


This is truly a one of a kind entry into the management consulting business and a great opportunity to stretch yourself and accelerate your career.You will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our senior leaders, to participate in key meetings, to learn a great deal about entrepreneurship, project management, sales strategy development, and execution as well as client relationship building and management.


 


What you should enjoy doing:



  • Analyse the client portfolio together with the Commercial Team to create targeted account plans and outreach campaigns

  • Arrange and effectively deliver a consistent stream of client meetings through prospecting and direct outreach

  • Take full ownership of knowledge transfer between Sales, Executives and Operations related to sales activities including account status, competitors, corporate programs, and best practices

  • Take the lead on additional projects within the team or cross-functionally to drive forward core company priorities and support the development of a fast-growing organization and scaling of internal functions

  • Contribute to and actively participate in key account meetings for business development alignment

  • Collaborate with team members to win deals through effective team-selling - Activities include internal and external meeting preparation, meeting follow-ups, proposal development, closing activities

  • Use Salesforce.com and related methods to ensure accurate knowledge transfer regarding account development, outreach progress, and opportunity pursuit



What we look for:



  • You have a Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent education

  • You have some experience assisting multiple stakeholders within a sales environment, ideally from the professional services environment

  • You have the aspiration to pursue your career in a fast-growing management consultancy and learn about sales, relationship management, project management and problem-solving

  • You are able to quickly build trusted working relationships with a variety of people and personalities

  • You are comfortable reaching out to clients to arrange meetings and have the persistence to push back if challenged

  • You have a strong service mindset and a thirst for excellence and results

  • You are hands-on, detail-oriented, autonomous, proactive and driven; you enjoy planning and are able to follow through the actions

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment and are able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyYou have excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills

  • You are proficient in MS Office and Google Suite; previous experience with Salesforce.com is an advantage

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, preferably with a good understanding of German
