Your Role


As a Voice & Data Engineer you are responsible for the delivery of stable Voice & Data Services for the organization’s +5000 end user population delivered under outsourcing agreements with our strategic providers. The role has frequent contact with business users to understand, translate and implement their requirements / demands / projects.


As a Voice & Data Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:



  • Design of Voice & Data Systems according to the needs of the different Business Domains

  • Supports business projects to ensure consistent design and implementation within the existing (planned) infrastructure

  • Planning and implementation of Voice & Data Systems and Components following the defined Zurich Standards and Guidelines

  • Collaborates with the business and suppliers about operational activities (BAU).

  • Acts as point of contact with other IT functions and third-party suppliers relevant to the respective role


Your Skills and Experience


As a Voice & Data Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:



  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science

  • 5 or more years of experience in related field with proven evidence of experience within an enterprise account Experience

  • Strong Project Management skills and Analytical Thinking

  • Strong ITIL Knowledge

  • Experience with IT Standards, Procedures & Policies

  • Strong Voice & Data Technology knowledge

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Advanced to senior experience on several technologies such as Network, FW, IP Telephony (Avaya, Cisco, Purecloud, others) and Contact Center Technologies

  • Strong communication, Planning & Organizational skills
