Job Description

As our Field Sales Manager for our Public sector and Healthcare you will be responsible for a named set of customers in Switzerland. You are responsible to increase Citrix market share and revenue in this segment.


This role is a primarily Home Office based role and we are open to candidates from all across Switzerland.



Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Covering corporate public accounts and Healthcare accounts

  • Driving consistent revenue generation by selling the entire Citrix portfolio, transforming transactional or opportunistic customer relationships into continuous relationships

  • Engaging with a team of Citrix and channel partner resources

  • Responsible for defining and executing the strategy for the account, assessing opportunities across the suite of Citrix solutions

  • You develop and manage opportunities driven by value-added resellers (volume and non-volume), strategic partners, to increase Citrix market share and revenue.

  • Work with Citrix Solutions Network (CSN) partners to increase Citrix product knowledge and efficiencies, and whenever possible, leveraging ISV and Citrix Strategic Business Alliances (CBA) relationships to drive sales into end user accounts.

  • You are responsible for all aspects of the sale from pricing negotiations to contract development to ensuring successful order fulfillment once the order has been received and processed by Citrix.

  • In addition, you have the ability to leverage and maximize CSN/CBA/SI/ISV partners as the fulfillment channel while working with Citrix end user accounts on IT initiatives.

  • Manage weekly forecasts against revenue targets and work closely with inside sales counterpart to manage the pipeline and set appropriate monthly and quarterly revenue expectations using Citrix-defined CRM and forecasting tools.

  • Are able to partner with sales and service organizations and IT business executives within corporate environments

  • Working with Citrix resources (e.g. product specialist, sales engineer) and alliance partners to define offerings


What would we like you to have?



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Ideally 5 years plus sales experience in a high tech environment in an in-/direct sales environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology

  • Track record successfully developing public accounts

  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcoming objections, return on investment analysis, closing the sale through appropriate procurement vehicle (shrink wrap, licensing, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of a customer organization

  • Proven ability to manage long, complex sales cycles from beginning to end

  • Best if you have knowledge of Citrix products

  • Knowledge of complementary hardware and software solutions

  • You have excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills

  • Strong work ethic, attitude and follow through ability

  • Ability to travel within assigned territory.
