Senior Rails Engineer (remote) Wanted!

We are a young and innovative company specializing in file transfer for business customers. Our solution provides security, efficiency and traceability and is already being used by a number of Swiss blue chip companies. We are located in attractive offices in the heart of Zurich.

As a company, we have ambitious expansion plans – we are in the process of launching a new self service file transfer product (comparable to WeTransfer) and improving our core product CargoServer substantially - also in the context of applications in connection with the blockchain technology.

Ideal profile

We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails engineer with full stack know how, newest browser and JavaScript technologies who can build modular, scalable and API driven software. This position focuses on the rails side but we’d love to work with someone interested in full stack development and are open to new technologies.

Relevant skills we are looking for

• Very good experience with Ruby on Rails and testing frameworks


• Engineering experience with building scalable, modular and API based software


• Experience with a git based workflow using scrum / agile methods


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English


• Experience with PostgreSQL, public/private key encryption, object stores (S3 API) a plus

• Our newest product is a web based application for file transfer using latest HTML5 technologies and modern frameworks for mobile and desktop support, encryption and subscription based account management


• Our technology stack is based on a Ruby-On-Rails backend with PostgreSQL/Redis and a modern JavaScript Backend with Vue.js and vuetify components


• We believe in simplicity and elegance to create attractive and responsive interfaces
