Position Summary

 


As Group Manager R&D Packaging with expertise in filling and packing, you will lead the packaging engineering team, create, deploy and maintain standards, new technologies and packaging materials solutions for filling and packing lines. As well as, provide technical assistance and training to Nestle operating factories, develop people into a packaging engineering expert career path.


A day in the life of a Group Manager R&D Packaging with expertise in filling and packing

 



  • Lead the team in the development of standards, new technologies and materials for filling & packing lines according to LEAN and TPM principles

  • Guardian of packaging equipment standards for the defined technology Platforms area of responsibility for his Centre

  • Lead coordination and interaction with key suppliers and internal customers on identifying and developing the right machines for the right applications

  • Lead and support evaluation of supplier, technical data and specifications, including Total Delivery Cost evaluation complete line design engineering

  • Manage technical assistance requests

  • Develop and give product/technology specific training


What will make you successful

 



  • Graduate in Packaging, Material Sciences, Engineering

  • Operational Experience: Filling & Packing Operations, Maintenance (> 10 years)

  • Leadership position experience from a market or R&D with proven success of leading teams.

  • Ability to communicate his/her passion for packaging & engineering

  • Good experience in TPM and LEAN

  • Fluent in English

  • Track record in Management
