Position Summary

 


As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will lead the development of winning channel and customer strategies for our top customers, tailoring the global category growth strategy to the Swiss market. You will ensure the implementation of customer annual plans, striving to achieve profitable sales objectives.


A day in the life of a Senior Key Account Manager

 



  • Develop and implement long term customer strategic plan to drive sustainable & profitable business (Vision, Portfolio Management, Promotional Strategy, Strategic Revenue Management, Trade Spends Investments)

  • Strongly collaborate with Marketing, Customer/Channel Sales Development, Field Sales Force, Finance, Supply Chain teams and your KAM Assistant

  • Gain Category Championship as the key person to the Business Unit through aligning the Business Units strategies and customer strategies

  • Execute & adapt plans for assigned accounts that are aligned with business objectives and customer strategies

  • Facilitate excellence in execution in the daily business by planning, communicating, anticipating, measuring results consistently and implementing corrective action or learning

  • Be accountable and responsible to achieve agreed upon Key Account targets and KPIs


What will make you successful

 



  • At least 5 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development or Management position

  • Category Development experience with a CPG, distributor or retail operations

  • Passion for FMCG and strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Drive to reach targets, proven negotiation skills, resilience and stress resistance

  • Fluent in German (ideally Swiss German), French and English
