We are looking for: Intern Engineer Key qualifications: • Currently studying for an Engineering degree in automation, electronics or informatics • Knowledgeable in industrial automation (PLC), connectivity protocols (OPC) and SCADA solutions • Competent in experimenting and creating digital process intelligence and Internet of Things (IOT) solutions by leveraging on wireless sensors. • Knowledgeable in robotics solutions for industry • Fluent in both written and spoken English If you are also flexible to work both in an evolving international environment and in production area, good with deadlines, teamwork and creativity, you are the one we want inside the global Manufacturing 4.0 team (in PMI Engineering S.A.) in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. As an Engineer Intern, you will shape with us our journey into the 4th industrial revolution where digital processes, networking and automation are of key importance. You will get an in-depth understanding of our industrial processes and help to sustain our performance and quality with technology. You will also work with cross-functional teams from production, engineering, IS and Quality assurance and provide technical recommendation. Your specific responsibilities will be to: • Design and experiment predictive maintenance solutions with wireless sensors, provide concept, project, tests, reports and recommendations. This leveraging on edge computing platform. • Study and map the robotics opportunities inside our manufacturing processes, provide recommendation. • Support our Process & Control team to digitize (with wireless solutions) and complete machine information.
