The role

Vendors/Publishers

• Take responsibility for running our relationships with our major vendors (Microsoft, VMware…). Networking with the Regional and Global program leads.


• Secure the existing SoftwareONE (and Comparex) Hosting business and authorizations, as well as plan for additional authorizations/expansion.


• Build knowledge of the vendor programs, licensing, contracts and accreditations.

 SoftwareONE

• Secure our existing Hosting business with our subsidiaries. Increasing the front-end profitability.


• Supporting countries planning and preparing their vendor Business Plans


• Create Ensure we can replicate the Local vendor alignment


• Support countries on the integration of the business between SoftwareONE and Comparex, in this area of the business


• Vendors alignment, mapping, alignment and networking


• Alignment with the SoftwareONE Publisher Diversity teams.


• Alignment with ONEClub and SoftwareONE Vision 2022 to bring our Services and solutions to our partners.

What we need to see from you

Requirements:

• 5+ years working in IT industry


• Working knowledge of vendor contracts, T&Cs, programs, accreditations, rewards & rebates


• Microsoft SPLA and/or Multi-Vendor Hosting experience


• Excellent verbal and written communication. Business English spoken and written


• There will be a certain amount of travel required for this role.

 

Additional Skills/Experience:

• Worked/working in hosting, MSP, ISV, vendor/publisher


• Worked/working in partner business.


• Extended experience of Microsoft SPLA & CSP programs


• VMware VCPP knowledge


• Other vendors hosting/aggregator programs e.g. Veeam, Acronis, Red Hat, Citrix


• Datacenter / infrastructure focus and experience


• Azure or AWS or other


• Promoting and selling Services and/or Solutions


• Microsoft Programs, SPLA


• Other spoken languages


• NAV experience
