Senior Legal Counsel

Job Beschreibung

Your Mission:

Provide legal support to global functions, in particular Business Development, the Global Innovation Office and Human Resources, as well as the LATAM-CAN and potentially other regional commercial teams, on a wide range of topics and projects in order to support Ferring’s growth agenda while mitigating legal risks.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Support Ferring’s growth agenda by providing legal and strategic advice to internal stakeholders on business development, innovation and commercial projects while managing legal risks


• Draft and revise complex commercial agreements, including licensing, investment and distribution agreements, and lead negotiations to a successful conclusion


• Support Ferring’s global human resources team by providing legal advice on strategic projects as well as individual employment matters


• Provide ad-hoc or back-up support to selected global functions, including Global Marketing and Global Medical Affairs and Finance, as needed


• Manage external legal counsel on selected legal matters, such as disputes with third parties or queries from competent authorities

Required Experience & Competences:

• Qualified lawyer with over 5 years post qualification experience in either multinational company or reputable law firm


• Experience in pharma or medical device industry is preferred


• Strong communication and analytical skills


• Fluent in written and spoken English
