Test Engineer

We are the team that integrates 3rd party products with internally developed components and is responsible for satisfying the needs of the Operations and Surveillance teams at SIX Swiss Exchange. 
You are a test engineer who is passionate about testing, as well as automating tests using the right tools for it. Given the criticality of our products in the daily workflow of the exchange, you will be working in one of the most visible teams across SIX Swiss Exchange

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain efficiently test cases that cover all functional requirements


• Investigate, triage, and troubleshoot software defects


• Collaborate with the members of the development team


• Collaborate with other testers in defining practices and standards for testing and building tools to automate testing as well as our release processes


• Take initiative in testing within your areas of competence

 

 
What You Bring

• Higher education in Engineering or a technology related field


• 2-5 years of testing and test automation experience 


• Experience in test engineering including  general programming skills, especially modern scripting languages


• High level of German and English (both verbal and written)


• Experience with Linux operating system as well as with DevOps tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Docker)


• Experience in the finance domain would be an advantage


• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, as well as tracking tools
