The Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT’IS), Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) and ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT) are currently seeking applicants for the joint post as:


 


RF Engineer / Scientist


 


Due to the growing international demands, the IT’IS Foundation, SPEAG and ZMT, the three members of the Zurich43 alliance, would like to expand their operation and are looking for a motivated and experienced RF test engineer to strengthen their multi-disciplinary team. Our laboratories at Zurich43 are considered to be one of the leading competence centers in near-field characterization of wireless devices and medical implants.


Your challenges:



  • Safety/performance assessment of wireless devices & medical implants

  • Conducting RF measurements and data analysis

  • Maintaining the in-house International Organization for Standardization (ISO) quality assurance system

  • Supporting our technical and customer service team


Your strengths:



  • Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent level; preference is given to candidates with:

    - experience in RF measurements

    - experience with near-field measurement systems (e.g., DASY) and/or RF simulation software (e.g., SEMCAD X, ANSYS)

    - understanding of statistics, error analysis, and uncertainty conventions

  • Strong sense of responsibility, ability to recognize and promote top quality workmanship

  • Self-motivation, good organizational skills, ability to work independently while being part of a team

  • Good verbal and written English skills, knowledge of German a plus
