Your main responsabilities
We are looking for an Energy Data Scientist to work on data analytics, algorithm development with a focus on time series analytics and forecasting for a wide range of automated real-time applications, specifically your main responsibilities are:
• Contribute to the development of our energy AI tools and libraries, by writing, refactoring and reviewing code for the technical implementation.
• Apply the energy AI tools to real-world problems by developing, configuring, training, evaluating and operationalize statistical- and machine-learning-based models.
• Develop a deep understanding of the underlying data models.
• Prepare design specifications and technical implementation proposals, carry out rapid prototyping and evaluation of potential new Energy AI services.
• Identifying and diagnose technical production issues, perform root cause analysis and work with all members of the cross-functional technology team to propose solutions.
Your qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in quantitative data science discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science, or a similar related field) with courses in Machine Learning.
• 1-3 years demonstrated experience as a data scientist, machine learning practitioner, or similar related roles.
• A solid understanding of time series analysis, statistics and probability theory, and machine learning model structures like NN, RNN, LSTM with hands-on experience using data science tools, libraries and languages, i.e., Python, SQL/noSQL databases, scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, and CUDA.
• Ability to apply theoretical concepts to real world problems with knowledge and modeling, understanding of physical systems, strong problem structuring and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cloud and container infrastructure (Docker, AWS Fargate, AWS ECS, and AWS ECR, AWS S3, AWS Redshift) is an advantage, as well as Linux architecture and system administration.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
