The AO is a medically guided, not-for-profit organization led by an international group of surgeons specialized in the treatment of trauma and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Founded in 1958 by a group of visionary surgeons, the AO today has a global network of 200,000 health care professionals. Each year it offers over 830 educational events around the world, which are supported by nearly 9,000 faculty and are attended by over 58,000 participants. It has 20,000 surgeon members working in the fields of trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial (CMF), veterinary, and reconstructive surgery.

AO VET represents a global network of surgeons, scientists and related professionals, highly specialized in the field of veterinary surgery of the musculoskeletal system. AO VET advances the practice of veterinary surgery to improve patient outcomes. Therefore, AO VET serves to promote experimental and clinical research, education and development in the field of veterinary surgery.


In our office in Davos, Switzerland, we are looking for a highly motivated personality for the position of:


 


Project Coordinator Community Development (50 percent)



In this role you will be required to



  • Provide support with production of various marketing collaterals, including print and video.

  • Support AO VET digital communication activities, such as distribution of e-mail newsletters and membership marketing and communication activities across all AO VET communication channels.

  • Support membership data quality management, analytics.

  • Create, maintain, and improve AO VET member privileges.

  • Create global/regional membership reports and statistics.

  • Provide organizational, operational, and implementation support for the AO VET Community Development Commission and team.

  • Coordinate the content for the AO VET website with various internal stakeholders.

  • Manage AO VET merchandise.

  • Support AO VET's digital image, including the development of online reputation and brand awareness.

  • Support the regions with regard to AO VET branding-related questions

  • Be comfortable with creating online marketing campaigns using a compelling combination of visuals, text and infographics.

  • Draft and conduct online surveys, including interpretation of data, and take appropriate action.


In order to master this challenge you have



  • A bachelor's degree with a focus in marketing and/or communications or similar

  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills with a passion for engaging storytelling and content creation

  • Two to three years of professional experience as a marketing and communication specialist, especially in digital marketing and communications

  • A proven track record of managing projects in the online space and building engagement through targeted marketing campaigns

  • An affinity for and interest in digital marketing and technologies (experience in working with systems such as Salesforce, Pardot and Sitecore is desired).

  • The ability to effectively work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently within allocated resources

  • Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail
