Der/Die Geodetic Maths Software Engineer ist Teil eines interdisziplinären Entwicklungsteams und unterstützt die Softwareentwicklung unserer höchst präzisen Leica-Lasertracker und Laserscanner.



Der/Die Geodetic Maths Software Engineer berichtet an den Senior Project Manager und Teamleiter des Software Developement Teams.



Diese Position eignet sich für Universitätsabsolventen der Geodäsie/Geomatik, oder alternativ der Mathematik, Physik oder anderer Naturwissenschaften mit einem Schwerpunkt in numerischer Mathematik.




Tätigkeiten:

• Entwicklung von Software für unsere Laser Tracker wie auch -Scanner in der industriellen Präzisionsvermessung, mit den Schwerpunkten:


• Programme zur Steuerung, Prüfung und Kalibrierung der Instrumente unter Windows


• Mathematische Algorithmen, Parameterschätzungen und statistische Fehlerberechnungen für Kalibriermodelle sowie Messdaten-, insbesondere Scandatenoptimierung


• Analyse und Präzisierung von Anforderungen mit daraus folgender Spezifikation, Architektur und Design


• Entwicklung von Simulatoren und Software-Prototypen


• Software-Entwicklung im Team wie auch interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungsteams aus den Bereichen Messtechnik, Firmware und Elektronik


• Messtechnische Untersuchungen zur Verifizierung von Algorithmen

Anforderungen:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Geodäsie/Geomatik mit Schwerpunkt Ausgleichungsrechnung oder Studium der Mathematik, Physik oder anderer Naturwissenschaften mit Kompetenzenin Numerischer Mathematik (Parameterschätzung mit redundanten Gleichungssystemen, Fehlerstatistiken, 3D-Datenverarbeitung inkl. Verarbeitung von Scanner-Punktwolken)


• Fundierte Kenntnisse in mindestens einer der beiden Programmiersprachen, C++ oder C# / .NET


• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der objektorientierten Programmierung unter Windows (auch während des Studiums)


• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Wünschenswerte Zusatzqualifikationen:

• Relevante Fortbildung in Informatik mit Schwerpunkt Software Entwicklung


• Erfahrung in Multi-Threading und in Kommunikation zu externen Geräten


• Berufserfahrung im industriellen Umfeld
