• You will be responsible for extending our platform and analytical tools and promote good practices in the area of software engineering and architecture


• The opportunity to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders and drive the development process from requirements analysis and implementation to delivery


• The responsibility to take ownership of our analytics platform from a development, architecture and product point of view


• You will solve issues in data engineering and analytics, quantitative modelling, data visualization and presentation, applying latest open source technologies based on Python 3.8 and its data science ecosystem (pandas, jupyter notebook, plotly dash, etc.) applying current development practices and tools (CI/CD, docker etc.)


• The chance to share your knowledge with other members of the investment department to improve their Python programming skills

You Offer

 

• Several years of professional experience in successfully building software solutions and sound knowledge of data analytics


• Higher education degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent, ideally combined with a background in asset management or the financial industry in general


• You are either proficient in Python and its data science ecosystem or any other programming languages and motivated to swiftly bring your Python skills up to date


• Ability to interact with different stakeholders, build trusted partnerships, deliver sound opinion and to present relevant solutions


• Objective oriented, ambitious and teammate personality who enjoys collaborating with colleagues in a spirit of true team work


• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and business proficiency in German and English


• You are a self-starter with a positive personality, committed to ongoing learning, and you love to share your knowledge with others
