Exciting opportunity as Finance Manager for “Occupancy” (also known as corporate real estate, property or premises) for EMEA and Switzerland within the global GBSS (Group Business Support Services) Finance team. In this role you will drive the financial management of Credit Suisse’s corporate real estate portfolio in the Region, with annual expense of c. CHF 500m. Helping to ensure expenses are accurately accounted and reported and that results are appropriately interpreted, you will incorporate financial and operational intelligence into forecasts / budgets that are transparently developed and presented in management information for both shared service and front office management.


We offer:



  • Execution of certain monthly Accounting processes overseen by Credit Suisse Group Financial Accounting functions

  • Own and drive Monthly Management Reporting, Forecasting and annual Financial Planning processes – including variance analysis, Flash reports (initial view of financials), and other Occupancy specific reporting including for example Moves Reports, Floor-space Reports

  • Developing analysis to support strategic decisions, based on rent book and investment details as well as Ad hoc support as required

  • Preparing regular finance exhibits for Management Committee presentations

  • Supporting ad hoc reporting requests for senior management

  • Open to discussing flexible/agile working

You offer:



  • The candidate must have extensive experience in a finance function, ideally supporting corporate real estate management, including development of business cases, supporting lease and general accounting and developing financial management strategies.

  • A recognised qualification (university degree in economics, mathematics or finance and/or ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) and some international experience is also a must.

  • You have 10+ years of experience within finance and analysis

  • You can demonstrate ability to lead direct and indirect resources, and influence management at a senior level

  • You are able show that you can effectively navigate a large multinational corporate, possibly in the Banking sector, with significant institutional complexities

  • You have a strong proficiency in Excel (Macros a Plus) & are able to express complex topics simply e.g. in PowerPoint

  • You demonstrate excellent analytical skills, a flair for data, numbers, figures and attention to detail

  • You are an excellent communicator in English

  • You are enthusiastic and creative, with a positive and pragmatic approach to problem solving

  • You have a strong organizational skills, able to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards
