Overview:                           


The Global Marketing manager will be a key member of the team that is responsible for bringing new innovated infusion products and line extensions to market. This role will be accountable for the achievement of key strategic marketing objectives including, but not limited to supporting the commercialization of new product initiatives,  being a liaison to regional marketing counterparts and exceeding global revenue targets for BD’s Infusion Portfolio. This role influences product development and drives the execution of marketing plans. It provides input into product line-related business decisions and resource planning. Demonstrates marketing expertise through specific and advanced set of skills and knowledge.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Support the successful development and flawless implementation of new product launches and related commercialization plans, strategies and activities

  • Optimize financial performance and leverages resources required for marketing success and related business performance of the product lines

  • Support analysis and implementation of market shaping and development opportunities and related initiatives

  • Demonstrate expertise on the competitive landscape.

  • Build and manage close relationships with regional teams and influencers in order to achieve market development goals and stay abreast of emerging market trends.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams with members in R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, Legal, Finance and other functional areas to lead to timely product commercialization.

  • Establish relationships with customer and stake holders to ensure that Marketing decisions are customer-driven

  • Manage marketing plans for assigned products to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies, including market sensing, market development and marketing mix.  Builds and executes the tactical plan, to ensure product positioning and messaging are communicated effectively.

  • Develop insights through market research and analytics to inform marketing and product development decision making, plans and activities to support the product portfolio


Accountabilities:



  • Demonstrate strong and clear accountability for project performance as part of a cross-functional team, developing excellent working relationships with all functions critical to commercial excellence

  • Experience in identifying market opportunities, market segmentation, completing competitive analysis, developing pricing strategies, preparing for product launch and commercialization, and developing go to market models and strategies.

  • Proven strategic thinking capability including strong customer focus, needs identification and value proposition development. Proven analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing and business strategies and plans.

  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Proven ability to work in high-paced environment and routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.

  • Conduct and encourage frequent formal and informal communication within the team to ensure full engagement and efficient operation

  • Promote and leverage diversity to achieve best outcomes and an inclusive work environment. Ensure all interested parties have opportunities to influence and contribute to decisions and outcomes.

  • Demonstrate agility and action orientation when facing ambiguity, change and uncertainty. Effectively manage change and instill confidence.


Education/Experience:



  • Minimum of 3 + years in product and/or market management.

  • Medical device marketing experience strongly preferred

  • Experience and understanding of working in a large matrix organisation

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA qualification preferred

  • Fluency in English – Additional European language is an asset


Job Specific Requirements:



  • 30~40% travel
