Position Summary

 


Your main mission as a Chocolate Demand & Supply Planning Team Lead is to lead the Demand Planning, Supply Planning and IMS Event Managers team in the effective application of Best Practice and efficient processes, to ensure that



  • finished goods are available and that they meet Customer demand at the right stock location and with high Freshness, whilst minimizing Cost

  • all IMS export projects are managed smoothly to achieve first time right Quality, Speed to Market and Cost Savings.


 


A day in the life of a Chocolate Demand & Supply Planning Team Lead

 


Team Lead (60%)



  • Manage, energize and inspire a skilled, motivated team of Demand and Import planners, Production planners and Event Managers to continuously improve the quality of the Demand, Supply, Production and Project Plans aligned with business priorities

  • Contribute to the local Business Unit by being a Supply Chain Business Partner through active and constructive participation in Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) and Monthly Business Planning (MBP) processes. Liaise with other supply chain functions to identify and deliver value chain and process optimizations.

  • Manage the relationship and the effective flow of information between the D&SP function and internal business partners such as Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, Factories, Sales, Marketing, Finance as well as the respective Zone EMENA Categories.

  • Be part of to the D&SP Leadership team and contribute to the strategic development of the function


Operational (40%)



  • Manage supply of imported and co-manufactured product to ensure availability for customers whilst maintaining optimal stock cover by interacting with producing factories/3rd party suppliers


What will make you successful

 



  • Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or Mathematics.

  • At least 5 years of operational experience in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Demand & Supply Planning, Project Management involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Exposure to the manufacturing, finance and commercial functions in a multinational environment

  • Preliminary experience with a statistical tool and/or data analytics is an asset, e.g. SAS, SPSS, SAP/APO, Tableau, PowerBI

  • Computer literate

  • Fluent English with working proficiency in French, German considered an asset
