Postdoc for experimental research in climate and environmental studies

The Postdoc will be active in the general topic of climate and environmental research. Main research aims are within the range of biogeochemical cycles. The tasks will mainly cover analysis of data obtained from several instruments (mass spectrometers and laser instruments for isotope measurements as well as diverse CO2 and O2 concentration units and peripherals). This includes measurements taken at the institute but also at field sites or from fixed installations at the High Altitude Research Station Jungfraujoch. Within this framework the successful candidate is requested to visit partner institutions and attend project meetings.

We offer

  • Postdoc position for one year (potentially extendable)

Expectations / Prerequisites:

  • PhD in Physics, environmental sciences or a similar discipline, preferably experimental oriented.

  • In-depth experiences in data analysis and programming.

  • Experiences in experimental work.
