To support that challenge, the Global Sourcing & Production team is currently seeking a Global Formulation, Fill & Pack Asset Network & Product Siting Head at global headquarters in Basel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a global FF&P Asset Network & Product Siting strategy in support of global Crop Protection objectives (“Make the right things in the right assets, in the right locations, ensuring agility and responsiveness at the customer interface whilst leveraging scale to ensure cost-competitiveness”), covering in-house and third party FF&P operations and assuring consistency of deployment across regions, subnetworks and product lines, as well as strategic alignment with activities and business processes involving other Production & Supply, commercial and R&D functions.



With particular emphasis on:



• Leading the design and implementation of a Global FF&P Crop Protection Asset Network & Product Siting Strategy, covering both internal and external facilities, enabling delivery of the Crop Protection strategy.

o Design and maintain over-arching framework (“Guiding Principles”), ensuring strategic alignment with other Production & Supply, commercial and R&D functionso Maintain current state FF&P manufacturing capability map (covering internal + external sites & operations)o Lead annual review of capacity availability to support 5-year business plan, including ability to adapt to major business landscape change scenarios (upsides/downsides/trade landscape/…)o Assure adequate supply interruption risk management relating to FF&P operationso Create roadmap of major change initiatives, including high-level 5+ year capital investment plano Identify and incorporate beneficial external technology and/or process innovations• As a member of the Global FF&P Leadership Team, assuring necessary competencies and resources are available within the Regional Asset Network & Product Siting team, internal Sites and Tolling management organization to develop, maintain and implement strategic Asset Network & Product Siting priorities and to contribute to cross-functional activities and business processes involving other P&S, commercial and R&D functions.

• As Secretary of Global FF&P Strategy Council, ensure Product Siting governance is enacted in accordance with CoP, with appropriate cross-functional engagement, consultation and alignment.

• Lead global projects/programs

• Coach/mentor Regional Asset Network & Product Siting Leads

 

Qualifications

 The successful candidate will ideally come with the following background and skillset:

• Bachelor degree in a science, engineering or quality-related field.

• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or supply-related activities

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in leading in a cross-functional environment

• Project/Program management experience strongly beneficial

• Strong stakeholder influencing and management

• Sound analytical and problem solving / solid IT skills

• Good communication skills with all levels of management and internal team

• Fluent in English
