Tasks

• Continuous process improvement and optimization of Axpo's gas operations (e.g. improving of existing or introducing of new IT systems and tools)


• Following new business requests and market changes and initiating/implementing needed changes to ensure smooth operations


• Tracking and reporting of performance and improvements through KPIs and other measures


• Actively shaping the future strategy for the gas department and helping to define operational and business goals


• Proactive cooperation with the gas trading desk, the operations center in Bulgaria, but also IT, Legal a.o.


• Regular exchange and visits with TSO's, DSO's an SSO's


• Etc.

Profile

• Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering or economics


• Several years of relevant experience in gas operations and good knowledge of all relevant aspects (trading, scheduling, logistics, regulatory, etc.)


• Proven track record in project and change management and in process improvement, background in Continuous Improvement preferred


• Ability to deal with high levels of complexity, great analytical and problem solving skills


• IT affinity, willingness to deal with a multitude of complex IT applications


• Strong self-drive and independence


• High level of curiousity, strong drive to get to know, structure and master new things


• Superior communication and influencing skills, fluency in English, German a plus
