We strive to make a difference to people’s everyday lives by bringing essential medicines to the market.  At Covance in Fullinsdorf we are looking to recruit an ARCHIVE ASSISTANT to join our Sample Management and Archives Services.


 


Job responsibilities include:



  • Performs a variety of Archives responsibilities in compliance with appropriate SOP’s and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations (as appropriate) in support of various Business Unit Operations.

  • Performs any combination of archive tasks, including labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials.

  • Sample accession core tasks, including box opening, inventory/labeling, receipt/store, and pulls/returns.

  • Uses tracking systems as appropriate to maintain sample and study integrity.

  • Ensures company procedures are followed in relation to security and access to relevant areas and data or sample integrity

  • Performs other duties as required from time to time.

Education/Qualifications:



  • Minimum requirement: Completed apprenticeship


Experience:



  • 2-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a regulated environment

  • German or Swiss German fluent, English very good knowledge

  • Ability to use several software packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
