Challenge description
As Supply Chain Assistant you are working closely with the COO in ensuring a smooth operation flow
by assisting in all areas of supply chain management. You will be mainly responsible for sourcing and
procurement of all technical and non-technical goods and parts needed for research, testing and
production of our QSorter devices. Besides, you will handle the overall logistics of the company:
shipments, inventory, information flow. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your
knowledge and experience in supply chain management and actively contributing to reshape our

Major tasks

• Responsible for sourcing and procurement of all technical and non-technical material (role
  owner)


• Research, contract negotiation and relationship management of suppliers


• Coordination of national and international logistics with customers, conferences and other
  partners


• Management of administrative aspects related to global trade (VAT, customs,
  authorizations)


• Managing of stock and inventory, including inventory taking and optimization


• Reviewing, approving and booking of material invoices in collaboration with the Finance
  department


• Contributing on the roll-out of a new ERP and active collaboration on future COGS
  reduction initiatives


• Continuously improving our internal processes, documents and systems to optimize in-
  house operations


• General assistance and support to the COO (preparation of reports, presentations, etc.)

Your climbing kit

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management: procurement, stock
  management, order entry and logistics


• Technical educational background (engineering or equivalent) and experience in the
  industry is required


• Sound knowhow of import/export procedures (VAT, customs) and handling of logistics


• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, proactive attitude with an entrepreneurial mind-
  set


• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or other ERP system, Office suite


• Demonstrated ability of working with multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams in a
  complex, fast-paced and changing environment


• Business fluent in English and German; Swiss German is a big plus
