Maintenance Engineer (f/m/d) - 005XYNWettingen (close to Zurich)

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Manager with responsibility for the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance for all manufacturing and infrastructure equipment at the Gutor Electronic headquarter in Wettingen. In addition, you will champion the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) at the site and report directly to the Plant Director.

If you have a strong focus on continuous improvement, are interested in strategic tasks and if you are familiar with electrical systems, then you should apply immediately.

Your responsibilities

You define and manage the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance for the infrastructure and equipment on site, e.g. electrical testing equipment, PLC, mechanical and hydraulic equipment, plus building infrastructure.

You animate a non-hierarchical team in operations and coordinate external suppliers.

You develop the TPM methodology and further safety instructions & procedures to ensure the safe operation of all equipment, enabling the highest standards of quality, service level and cost efficiency.

You will be a strong contributor to the plant´s continuous improvement program, including digitization and automation initiatives. As the Cyber Security Leader, you ensure that Cyber Security guideline are processed and implemented – in close cooperation and aligned with our Digital team and other plant in Malaysia.

Finally, you develop business cases for capital investment, and manage the investment plan for the sites manufacturing and infrastructure machine park.

About you

You have an electrical or mechanical education (for Swiss applicants 4 years educational training), combined with a solid electrical understanding and experiences in electrical equipment and electrical safety.

You are a seasoned maintenance specialist who gained her/his knowledge during a position as TPM coordinator, Maintenance Leader or Maintenance Engineer.

You like to work strategically and have a proven track record in managing small or mediumprojects with focus on process improvements or capital investments.

The ideal candidate has very good communication skills in English and German (written and spoken).

You have a solid understanding about TPM and problem-solving concepts, SAP (PM module) knowledge would be a plus.
