To strengthen our team in Switzerland we are looking for a Hardware Engineer. As an Altran Consultant you will calculate the HW reliability (mean time to failure - MTTF) and perform a HW failure mode effects and diagnostic analysis (FMEDA) at component and block levels, resulting in PFD, PFH and SFF values.
Main Tasks:
Calculate electronic component stresses
Calculate MTTF
Define HW critical paths
Diagnostic coverage per functional block
Run FMEDA and compute PFD/PFH and SFF values.
Your Profile:
Academic background:
Engineering Degree or equivalent in Electronics
Electronics reliability and safety training
Required skills:
Deep understand of electronic schematics
Experience with HW reliability and Safety calculations
Experience in the design of functional safety relevant equipments (E/E/PE)
IEC 61508 background.
Languages: English as well as French
