(Junior) Firmware Engineer (f/m/d) – Embedded - 005V0F

Wettingen (close to Zurich), German-speaking Switzerland

 

We – Gutor Electronic LLC - are looking for a Junior Firmware Engineer who joins the embedded design team in our development department (R&D), based in Wettingen (Swiss-German speaking part of Switzerland). You are dealing with Embedded Firmware development and the maintenance related to actual Gutor ETO product portfolio.

 

If you have a strong focus on Embedded Systems with first experience in firmware development and programming, then you should apply immediately.

Your responsibilities

• You maintain and continuously improve the embedded firmware on certified controller boards.


• You work on requirement specifications, concepts, development and validation in line with the V-Model method.


• You are the point of contact for a selected ETO product range firmware on DC / AC Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) systems for harsh environment applications.


• You amend firmware, based on customer requirements, in close collaboration with our Hardware and Application expertise teams.

About you

• You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics with focus on Embedded Systems.


• To be successful in this position, you have very good C / C++ and Assembler programming skills and basic knowledge about VHDL programming.


• You have practical experiences with hardware such as ARM Cortex-M families and TI specific DSP (digital control loops) as well as with firmware development in line with the V-Model.


• As a team player you are interested to work in diverse international teams and dedicated to reach goals in a dynamic working environment.


• You are fluent in English to ensure a smooth communication with your customers and colleagues, good German skills are advantageous to “survive” outside the office.
