We are looking for a self-driven independently working Full-Stack Engineer (m/w) to join the Account Verification team in Zurich. Our client is building new user verification infrastructure to allow users to use identity information to better protect their accounts. We are looking for experienced full-stack engineers for a project that encompasses both work behind the scenes and user visible work. Your contributions will be key to the success of this project. Your responsibilities:
Proficiency delivering high-quality user-visible changes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Templating languages, Java, Unit and end-to-end tests
Aptitude for implementing backend systems using Spanner, C++ microservice architecture, Unit and end-to-end tests.
Work on evaluation and tooling implementation in C++ and Python
Work closely with our existing engineering team
Understand and follow security best practices
Familiarize with existing codebase and configuration
Gather and clarify project requirements
Ensure requirements and solutions are well documented
Your skills:
BA/BS degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience 2-5 years of extensive experience with full-stack engineering
Experience in at least four of the languages listed above
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new technologies and systems
Experience or desire to work in an adversarial context: Our client’s systems are probed and attacked constantly, and this needs to be kept in mind when developing solutions in our context
Ability to analyze problems quickly and find solutions to challenging systems issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
