In order to complete our electronic development team with focus on electronic measurement systems for large research facilities, we are looking for aRF Development Engineerm / fYour tasksYou are looking for the challenge to work in a dynamic research environment and a versatile hardware development team. Through your expertise in RF circuit design, you are part of the «High Frequency-Coreteam» in the group «Hardware Development». As an expert, you are responsible for:

  • Design and construction of RF electronic measurement systems for accelerator based applications

  • Development and optimization of analog and mixed-signal circuits as well as fast digital data acquisition systems up to 12GS/s

  • On-site commissioning of electronic systems

  • Conception and consulting of existing and new RF measurement and control systems for accelerator systems

Your profileYou have a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification, preferably, with a PhD degree. You also have in-depth experience in designing analog, RF and mixed-signal systems. As a proactive, open personality, dealing with different contacts in different groups is easy for you and you are comfortable in a heterogeneous environment. Good German and English skills complete your profile. Ideally, you already have experience with large accelerator facilities. We would particularly like to encourage women to apply.
