The context:


The Supply Network Operations (SNO) organisation orchestrate our products’ end-to-end activities along their value chains and will be the catalyst for establishing a customer-centric, seamless product flow that provides our patients and customers with the highest possible level of service. SNO contains all key supply chain operating processes and as such the lifecycle activities of our commercialized product portfolio which are important to ensure relevance and compliance.


The Director SNO Processes and the relevant reporting teams/functions are integral part of the Supply Network Operations organization. He is part of the SNO Leadership Team and reports into the SVP, Head of the SNO Organization.


Your mission:


Lead several teams in relation to lifecycle activates (enter/maintain/exit) on SKUs and product families in the company’s commercialized product.


Support the Value Streams by ensuring that the up to date and smart S&OP process (production capacity is synchronized with markets demand while maintaining an optimized inventory levels) is available and adhere to.


Maintain existing and build new strong cross-functional connectivity, anticipate the impact of regulatory changes/ market needs/ productions sites constraints to address challenging situations, on day to day supply chain/TechOps needs.


  


Main responsibilities:



  • Managing for TechOps introduction of New Products and Geographical expansion (while interacting with BD, R&D, GMO and others)

  • Manage and govern New Product Launch processes (NPI/NPL), the goals being to optimize lead times, process efficiency, and proper handover to routine while ensuring compliance

  • Maintain and implement governance structure that ensure ongoing monitoring, stability and optimization of Ferring’s commercialized portfolio (Orange Committee, portfolio review) – this with the aim to ensure constant alignment to global business strategies (Ferring TA Mission)

  • Assessment of any product change request impact on compliance / regulatory and ensuring technical requirements exist for Ferring and third-party sites implementation

  • Implementation of product changes by maintaining artwork right first time, change feasibility and adequate service level

  • Endorse organizational maturity growth with GRA, GQA and M&Ss, to develop and implement a PLM overall culture within Ferring

  • Driving packaging harmonization and supporting related cost saving initiatives

  • Lead Global Sales & Operation Planning process to be used by the values streams, markets and productions sites

  • Lead Serialization governance and implement project/programs to maintain regulatory compliance per the emerging global authorities’ announcement

  • Responsible for staffing and talent management, learning and development, and performance management for direct reports and teams. Cross-functionally develop a professional team across regions. Ensure company values are kept, as expressed in the Ferring’s leadership principals

  • Marketing, Commercial & Sales relevant functions on region and market level (finance, launch, etc..)

Required Experience & Competences:



  • Master degree / PhD in Engineering, (Bio-)Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial management or a related field

  • Proven track record of people management skills and building high performing teams

  • 5-10 years’ experience in GMP in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or other highly regulated industry

  • 5-10 years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations

  • Understanding of overall pharmaceutical industry, cGMP and regulatory knowledge is a must

  • Good knowledge of Lean manufacturing methodology

  • Project and Portfolio management

  • Experience in the digital and data analytics domain

  • Change management competence with direct experience

  • Results, actions and impact oriented

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; engaging and inclusive leadership style, analytical skills; political savvy, problem solver
