For our client, a well known service provider in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Performance Materials and Technology sector, we are searching for a Technical Sales Manager Specialty Chemicals in the Plant Care and Crop Protection industry to join their Specialty Chemicals Industry team in Zurich.

Your Responsibilities



  • Deliver sales margin for assigned markets and customers

  • Expand market coverage and penetration

  • Develop new product sales

  • Provide technical support to customers R&D departments

  • Provide sales plans and procurement forecasts for internal and external partners

  • Prepare market surveys including scouting for product innovations and regulatory trends


 


Job requirements



  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the chemical industry

  • Experience in selling Chemistry for the Agricultural Business

  • Education in Chemistry is a clear advantage

  • Knowledge in surfactants and their use in formulations is an advantage

  • Fluent language skills in German and English, any further European language is beneficial

  • Entrepreneurial, dynamic, adaptive, self-driven and persuasive personality with deal-closing skills

  • Creative approach to generate customer interest and to filling project pipeline

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Willingness to travel frequently (50-70%) in Europe
