Position Summary


Cabot Corporation is a leading global specialty chemicals and performance materials company headquartered in Boston, USA. For our European Regional Headquarters (EMEA) located in Schaffhausen, we are looking for a part-time Receptionist / Administrator.  As the Receptionist /Administrator you represent the company in a positive and professional manner and are the first point of contact for visitors. This is a part- time role, with working hours Mon-Fri 08:00-12:00.


Job Responsibilities



  • First point of contact at the office, which includes visitor management, deliveries, telephone calls, courier, post etc.

  • Responsibility for setting up, maintaining and reserving meeting rooms and arranging catering

  • Responsibility for ordering all office & kitchen supplies and entering purchase requisitions accordingly

  • Kitchen and office upkeep tasks

  • Office key and parking space management.

  • Point of contact to the building caretaker, local traders and local service providers.

  • Support and stand-in for Executive Assistants.

  • Ad-hoc office tasks


Requirements



  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Commercial/business diploma (KV) an advantage

  • Excellent command of German and English, spoken & written

  • Proficiency in common IT tools (MS Word, Excel etc.)

  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

  • Proactive, reliable, self-starter with attention to detail

  • Flexibility to provide back- up for Executive Assistants
