The Corporate Sustainability & Responsible Investment (CSRI) team is responsible for the development and implementation of Julius Baer Group’s CSRI strategy. The Head CSRI functionally reports to the Chief of Staff and strategically reports to the Sustainability Board, a Committee of the bank’s Executive Board, chaired by the CEO.



Since Julius Baer strongly believes that both corporate sustainability and sustainable & impact investing should be aligned, the two eminent topics are united in a single team. The ambition is to achieve active leadership in these topics. To this end, the Head CSRI and the team drive several strategic initiatives and closely interact with internal stakeholders across the bank as well as with key clients and other external stakeholders.

IHRE AUFGABEN

• Establish and manage client communities in the area of impact investing for wealthy families and their next generation


• Develop and implement ideas of new client engagement formats


• Provide thought-leadership papers and articles on impact investing, with a focus on climate-related topics within the UN SDGs


• Identify white spots in the existing impact investing offering and contribute to a coherent impact investing platform across asset classes in collaboration with the product teams


• Contribute to the development of a bank-wide Sustainable and Impact Investing Strategy, including the strengthening of client experience, trainings and products & services


• Implement strategic initiatives and act as subject matter expert in impact investing related topics in support of the product teams


• Advise internal stakeholders such as Relationship Managers and Product Specialists on impact investing topics

IHRE FÄHIGKEITEN

• Strong academic record: university degree in business administration, economics, sustainability studies or equivalent; master's degree or higher a plus


• At least 7 years of relevant work experience; at least 5 years of experience in impact investing in the financial services industry


• Thorough understanding of client engagement and product development in the financial services industry


• Strong in communication and writing


• Experienced in client advisory of wealthy families and their next generation


• Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of impact investing solutions


• Able to quickly understand, synthesize and analyse substantial amounts of information


• High integrity, reliable, deliver consistently high quality within agreed timeframes


• Team player, have interest in and derive joy from collaborating with others


• Motivated and driven by the purpose the CSRI Team is working towards


• Fluent in English and German (spoken and excellent written skills), knowledge of French and other languages is an advantage
