International Corporate Lawyer for our Zurich office (m/f/x) (100%)

In this role, you will advise the management in all legal matters and be responsible for all contracts with our international business partners, global platforms and distributors in Europe. We expect you to bring with you commitment, creativity and, of course, team spirit. Previous knowledge of the financial services industry is a prerequisite..

Your tasks:

• Advising the management in all corporate law matters


• Observation and timely advice of the management regarding changes in local and international supervisory and collec- tive investment schemes legislation


• Ongoing monitoring of the existing contractual framework with regard to regulatory changes and preparation of pro- posals for adjustments to the Executive Board


• Maintenance of the model contract library of all contracts in connection with cross-border distribution.


• When taking on a new client mandate, ensuring that all new contracts run smoothly in close cooperation with the client relationship manager and the lawyers and legal departments of our clients. • Coordination of the passporting of ACOLIN Europe GmbH (KWG company) in the EU (MiFid II)


• Interface between external legal advisors, auditors, investment companies and supervisory authorities


• Periodic reporting to EU regulators and associations where required


• Avoidance of reputation and liability risks vis-à-vis FINMA, BaFin, FCA and other supervisory authorities


• Handling of customer complaints in cooperation with Group Compliance and Executive Management


• Legal support of group companies in drafting contracts and launching new products


• Talent Development and Team management if you wish to lead a legal team

Your profile:

You have a full legal education and ideally several years of professional experience in the financial services industry. Your personality is characterised by a high degree of resilience, initiative and loyalty. You are also an organizational talent. We expect team spirit and a certain amount of creativity. Your decisiveness and natural assertiveness round off your profile. Furthermore, your mother tongue is English and you possess of excellent German language skills; every additional language is welcome. Good presentation skills and fun in training and knowledge transfer round off your profile.
