For our growing organization in the area of Grid Automation Products we are looking for a technically skilled .NET software developer. You will join a highly motivated, international team which is fully responsible for developing state of the art tools which support our global ABB Power Grids’ substation automation system units to engineer customer projects in an efficient way. Your responsibilities



  • Design and implement innovative software solutions and components for our product and system portfolio

  • Follow and define best software development practices to ensure high quality product and great user experience

  • Proactive contribution to all stages of the agile development process, including requirements engineering

  • Preparation of well-structured design and specification documents in close collaboration with key stakeholders and product management

  • Become an active member of our global, cross-discipline team by sharing your best practices, constantly learning mindset and continuous ambition to become better in what you are doing


Your background



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or related field; 3+ years of professional experience in .NET and WPF

  • Creativity, enthusiasm and fun to work in a highly collaborative, global team

  • Familiarity with state-of the-art software architecting approaches, methods and tools, including design patterns

  • Experience with working in a fully agile development environment

  • Broad IT/SW background and willingness to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of new technologies and application domains (e.g. Electric Power Engineering, Automation)

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), German is an advantage
