• As a member of the Technical Office team you will gain in depth knowledge about Stryker’s Trauma & Extremities portfolio. You will learn how External Fixators, Bone Plates & Screws, Surgical Instruments and many other products help improve people’s life.


• Together we are responsible for over 17000 articles. We count on you to maintain our high standard in design specification.


• Through your expertise in design specification, engineering or metallurgy you support new product development teams as well as Global Quality Assurance, our international manufacturing sites and Regulatory Affairs Teams.


• In your field of responsibility, you will make sure that design- and regulatory requirements are met as well as apply the design change process and identify technical solutions in this context.


• You are further actively participating in, and at times lead, cross functional teams to perform Non-Conformities (NC) and Corrective-, Preventive-Actions (CAPA).


• Your role will include frequent contact with other teams such as the international Regu-latory Affairs, Biomechanics, Design Quality or Marketing to address design related questions for international registrations.
   

Your profile

• You have undergone a technical/mechanical education, are qualifying as a technician (HF) or graduate engineer (FH/Uni/ETH) and you would like to gain professional experience in product development/care.


• You bring either CAD skills (ProE is an advantage) and experience in mechanical engineering  or experience in design & quality control /design transfer activities in the medical device industry to the team.


• Desirably you posess knowledge of the international regulations in the medical device industry.


• You are characterized by analytical reasoning, a focused and pro-active work style along with a high sense of duty and advanced problem solving skills.


• You value an international working environment where you can use your good command of English and German. Good knowledge of French is an advantage.
