DevNet Engineer - 100% - Perm contract - Bern area, Switzerland






Responsibilities :

• Gathering users’ needs, analysis of environment and specific deployments will be required• Making documentation and status report
  


• Network application development and scripting
  


• Development for LAN, firewalls, IoT and SDN
  


• Automate network and firewall device on-boarding and RMA using API
  


• Automate network and firewall configuration generation
  


• Emulate CLI user interaction for devices not supporting API
  


• WebUI front-end design
  


• Automate Cisco ACI Datacenter & Cisco DNA Center basic tasks
  


• Develop network compliance tools
  

Profile :

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent with a background in programming languages
  


• 2-5 years development experience is required
  


• Experience in Python and Flask is required
  


• Experience in API usage (postman, REST API, JSON, etc…)
  


• Experience and willingness to do basic web design is an asset
  


• Knowledge and interest in network & firewall infrastructure
  


• Knowledge in any of the following technologies is a plus: NetConf, RestConf, YAML, YANG, Ansible, Docker etc..
  


• Coordination and collaboration with network team to maintain existing developments and proceed with handover when applicable
  


• Strong capabilities of working autonomously is necessary
  


• Interests in networking and firewalling is necessary
  


• Fluent English (mandatory), AND either fluent French or German (mandatory)
