The Institute of Life Technologies at the HES-SO Valais invites applications for a position as Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Clinical MicrobiologyIHRE AUFGABEThe postdoctoral researcher will work in the Diagnostic Systems and Microbiology research groups to develop innovative point-of-care (POC) in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tests for antibiotic resistance screening and antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST). The researcher will also investigate the influence of insects on the gut microbiome. This two-year funded project is in close collaboration with academic and industrial partners.IHR PROFILApplicants should hold an advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Microbiology. The applicant should have extensive experience with analyzing human clinical samples and infectious disease diagnostics.
