In order to improve our Network Management System User Interface software towards a modern technology stack and state-of-the-art graphical design, we are looking for a driven and passionate front-end developer (m/f) with strong focus on UI/UX aspects. Located in Bern, you will collaborate with team colleagues in Bern as well as work remotely with colleagues in Krakòw (Poland). Your responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the existing UI software, a major part of our Network Management System, as well as its future


• Propose and drive the future UI evolution (standalone and / or web application)


• Play an active role in defining, modeling and implementing the software


• Act as expert for UI/UX domain within the team


• Work in close collaboration with the whole R&D department, product support as well as the end customer

Your background

• Solid degree in software engineering or a related field (University, FH)


• Good knowledge in implementing best practices and state-of-the-art User Interfaces software following Lean UX methods


• Proven Front-End software development experience (including modern UI frameworks and trends), preferably having worked with an agile methodology and in a leading role


• Extensive knowledge of Java (being familiar with Swing / JavaFX considered an advantage) and web-based development (Javascript, HTML5, web sockets, frameworks like Angular, React, Bootstrap / Material)


• Team player with the ability to bridge different interests and ideas


• Strong hands-on experience and willingness to support and coach other team members


• Fluency in English, German considered an advantage
