Our Plant in Pratteln (BL) / Switzerland manufactures pressure sensors for consumer/automotives & Industrial market


For the Supply chain Manager Pratteln/ Switzerland we are looking for you, the motivated and skilled


Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsible for the day-to-day operations and longer term planning of respective site functions, including supply-chain The supply chain manager will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues, be involved in long term planning and initiatives, and contribute to the overall performance of the site of Pratteln.


 


Manage following task for the Pratteln site activity


Production planning


Purchasing


Procurement Logistic


Warehouse


Administration


Shipping


 


MAIN ACTIVITIES


Management of the Logistics team


Daily follow-up of production output planning based on sales' requirements


Maintain, edit and follow-up of finished goods production planning          


Survey and control of stock-levels in order to ensure availability of raw materials and components for uninterrupted production


Analysis of consumption of raw-materials, chemicals, consumables &ensuring minimum stock-levels in collaboration with resp. prod.-operators


Coordinate annual purchases for materials & consumables


Organization of stores, annual inventory audit


Follow-up on suppliers (on offers, pricing, order-confirmations, delivery-schedules, analyze performance, control of prices and invoices)


Update IT support system (articles, nomenclatures, product-ranges etc.)


Coordinate and follow-up on forwarders


General monthly stock and material reports for the Management, annual inventory


Establishment and follow-up on ISO-9001, IRIS, IATF procedures


Ensure delivery on time to customer


Drive organizational transformations towards end-to-end supply chain responsibilities


Introduce product-oriented segmentation


Train and develop staff


Drive KPI dashboard and performance management


Manage end-to-end optimization in strong co-operation with operation departments


Monitor and manage performance by supply chain/product group (per SC Planer)


Identify performance issues and drive performance improvements with the team in order to reach agreed targets


Proactively approach other functions and supply chain partners for end-to-end optimization


 


 


 


AUTHORITY & RESPONSIBILITIES


Ensure delivery just-in-time and security stock-levels


Improving supplier follow-up and feed-back (pricing, delivery, fall back)


Survey of work in progress (WIP) and stock


Authority to deal with suppliers and forwarders


Responsibility for consumables cost-improvement programs


 


Our Requirements:


Prior logistic experience required (a minimum of 3 years ), academic Degree (Engineering preferred)


Strong demonstrated background and practical experience in lean manufacturing and Six-Sigma required


General Management, Change Management, strong business acumen


IT Skills (MS Office, SAP)


Excellent written & oral communication skills in German & English required


Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.


Project Management skills


Ability to lead through example.


Position requires flexible working hours as required by Plant Conditions.
