The Account Representative is at the forefront of GTT sales, the role is dedicated to finding our next new name customers and providing the best service to our existing client base: understanding their challenges, matching their needs with GTT services, and most importantly closing the deals.
The Account Representative works closely with Account Directors, Sales Engineers and Sales Management to help find and develop opportunities. The Account Representative will work within virtual ‘Opportunity teams’ which are created to respond to the customers’ requirements, design the solutions and build the proposal to the customer.
The role is supported by marketing who are charged with delivering qualified leads to the Account Representatives, Account Managers and Account Directors, however it is expected that the Account Representative will designate time to get their own leads as well.
So, what does a GTT Account Representative do?
• Sell GTTs full suite of products and solutions in Switzerland/DACH, including connectivity SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet and hosted Voice Services.
• Key customer profile is enterprise companies with a Swiss/DACH decision-making unit and considerable international footprint/requirement.
• Present GTT solutions to new & existing customers.
• Work with the considerable marketing support available to drive further prospecting initiatives from new and existing enterprise clients.
• Provide full visibility of business potential through the GTT CRM reporting tool.
• Provide timely and accurate business forecasts.
• Work with Product Management and Pre-Sales to create sound proposals.
• Drive opportunities from discovery, through development to close.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a solid enterprise Salesperson with a stable career history who consistently hits and exceeds targets in the Connectivity/Networking/Cloud services. The idea hire will be as good at closing new deals as they are at cross/up-selling, since the position will be 60% new business and 40% account management.

Essential Criteria:
• Must be confident in engaging with Director/VP or even C level executives on their business
challenges and translating needs into benefits.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT setup and Cloud, Networking and connectivity (MPLS, SD-WAN)
• Be able to present to technical and non-technical directors, VPs and c-level.
• Be an avid listener, and expert at translation of needs into appropriate solutions.
• Be comfortable with technical topics.
• Able to write proposals and specifically executive summaries, showing how needs are understood
and how solutions will meet them.
Desirable Criteria:
• 2+ years enterprise sales experience
• Have spent time in a cold-calling environment and account management.
• Account executive (desk based) with at least 3 years sales experience looking for their first face
to face role.
Qualifications/Courses:
• For Zurich, excellent written and verbal grasp of German (Level C1/C2/Native) and English
• For Geneva, excellent written and verbal grasp of French (Level C1/C2/Native) and English
• Knowledge of applicable sales methodologies (SPIN, Miller Heiman, etc).
