Oracle Communications Global Business Unit (CGBU) represents Oracle in the communications industry. Oracle CGBU is
responsible for the development, marketing, sales and consulting of Oracle
Communications specific products, and leads Oracle’s strategy in the

The Application Sales Representative
position has been created to support the significant investment Oracle has and
continues to make in the Communications Market.
Responsibilities will include:
Selling OracleCommunications products into Switzerland and Benelux market.
Responsible andaccountable for achieving allocated quarterly and annual sales quota forlicense and first year maintenance.
Strong Communicationbackground
Prospect andincrease awareness of Oracle Communications’ products in Switzerland andBenelux, building a sustainable and growing pipeline of opportunities.
Develop existingOracle Communications customer relationships in Switzerland and Benelux andidentify expansion opportunities.
Work inconjunction with Oracle CGBU account teams and other Oracle lines ofbusiness to identify opportunities in the Oracle installed base and/or net newaccounts.
Manage and closeOracle Communications sales opportunities through account and opportunityplanning and execution.
Learn and maintainprocess and functional knowledge and associated business benefits ofOracle Communications products customer references, competitors andindustry trends
Lead thedevelopment, presentation and sale of opportunity specific valuepropositions.
Negotiate pricing,concessions and contractual agreement to close the sale.
Identify strategicalignment with key third party influencers.
Qualifications andexperience required:
Successful track record of sellingapplications products within Switzerland and Benelux market.
Good knowledge of Switzerland communications industry, market drivers andcompany strategies.
Knowledge of other industries in Benelux , market drivers and company strategies.
Established relationships atvarious levels throughout customer organisations, with proven influence oncompleted sales.
Strong sales acumen and ability to participateand influence cross-lines of business opportunities
Strong ability tobuild a solid pipeline of opportunities
Demonstrable experience in selling to key influencers,stakeholders, committees and decision makers.
Proven ability and trackrecord to individually perform all aspects of a sales cycle from gaining initialinterest to closure and beyond.
Consistently achieved or exceeded sales quotaobjectives.
Demonstrated success in appropriately utilizing companyresources to close business.
At least 5 years of successfully selling enterpriseapplication software in the BSS/OSS domain.
Good English skills (written and spoken)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
