As the Vans Interactive Designer, you will be part of the Vans EMEA design team and develop strong partnerships with your peers in the Marketing department to design brand right creative content. You are a designer with strong graphic design creativity and up to date knowledge of the web technologies. You are passionate about design and strive to provide pixel perfect user experience across all devices. You are detail-oriented, process-friendly, and capable of working within tight timelines on multiple projects simultaneously. How You Will Make a Difference



  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5 years.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferably interactive design, graphic design, computer graphics, information architecture, visual communication etc. – or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your specific contributions.

  • Expert experience with design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign & Sketch.

  • Creates pixel perfect graphics, banners, newsletters and responsive landing pages insuring brand’s DNA consistency across EMEA. Adapt Global Campaign creative materials for EMEA needs and integrate them into the EMEA marketing strategy.

  • Creates design executions focused on user experience with the understanding of how they would be developed in front-end code, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Works with web developers to apply style and user interface design to web applications.

  • Is able to translate a design idea to all possible devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and be aware of the limitations they provide.

  • Concepts and creates animated and static assets for social media.

  • Ability to work with Brand and Ecommerce teams to blend content storytelling with commercial functionality, while sustaining good working relationships.

  • Closely follows design trends and developments in technology ( particularly mobile ) and integrates them into our environment and practices.

  • Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.

  • Ability to work within tight timelines on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Enthusiastic and pro-active person, team player with good communication skills.

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Italian language would be a plus.

  • A deep understanding of the Vans brand and the action sport industry.

  • Up to 5% travel time.

  • Willing and able to work additional hours when needed.

  • Long hours sitting/staring at a computer monitor.

  • Experience with enterprise Content Management Systems preferably Adobe AEM.

  • Be able to edit video content using Adobe Premiere.

  • Additional software needed: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
