What it's about



  • Working in partnership with deal teams in the asset management of private infrastructure investments to implementing business plans and monitor performance against initial expectations

  • Developing strategic plans and identifying value creation initiatives in conjunction with management teams and service providers

  • Assisting deal teams in identifying and executing follow on acquisitions in investments

  • Development of relationships with underlying management teams, boards of directors and service providers

  • Support the due diligence of new opportunities with a particular focus on on‑going operations and asset management post-investment

  • Develop, review and implement restructuring strategies and value improvement initiatives

  • Support, advise and challenge the management teams including taking formal board roles

  • Conduct and co-ordinate activity related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts

  • Assist deal teams in sourcing infrastructure investment opportunities throughout the world, with a focus on Europe


What we expect



  • Motivated by the purpose of delivering vital infrastructure investments for the benefit of customers and Partners Group Investors

  • Top academic credentials (Masters/MBA/Financial qualification), with an emphasis on Finance, Economics and/or Engineering

  • Project management skills / experience

  • Experience / understanding of accounting / valuation principles

  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience working for an infrastructure business

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

  • A strong desire and modesty to learn

  • Developed listening and influencing skills

  • Thorough knowledge of Word and Excel (some modeling skills required) and the ability to conduct research

  • Be proactive on assignments/projects and demonstrate initiative

  • Able to complete projects on time and accurately and be able to multi-task

  • Strong work ethic, professional demeanor and appearance
