We are currently looking for a Material and Recipe Specialist to cover for a maternity leave in our department. In this role, you will anticipate product requirements evolution and optimize implementation throughout ingredient and recipe portfolio in order to maintain product supply and improve reactivity. Assist local MRM teams for Compliance by Design and Compliance by Manufacture process and establish Best Practices and Guidance & Develop product formulation expertise.
Ensure accountability for recipe portfolio compliance to safety, regulatory, internal policies & quality requirements
Lead cross functional teams in developing compliant formulations with safety, legal, and nutritional requirements and establishing ingredient nutritional composition and compliant purchasing specifications with safety & legal requirements
Define and clarify all requirements applicable at each stage from product concept to launch.
Identify opportunity of recipe/ingredient optimization and rationalization
Establish ingredient nutritional composition and compliant purchasing specifications with safety & legal requirements
Contribute actively to define the portfolio evolution strategy in terms of recipes & ingredients for category
Assess impact & manage changes across portfolio
Drive compliance improvements & new requirements implementation within category
Responsible for defining corrective actions in case of noncompliance and accountable for execution
Implement and ensure adherence of the approval workflows for ingredients and recipes across the entire organization (AG, R&D, RA, SC, etc.)
Define recipe management instructions & requirements for recipe management tools
Train Recipe Specialists and Ingredient Experts on different techniques and stages of product development and validationv
Master Degree in Food Sciences or Technology, Nutrition or related
At least 3-4 years of operational experience in production or QA or successful experience in product development or recipe management
Fluent in English mandatory and at least one other European language (French, Spanish or German) v
