Business Analyst / IT Specialist for our Insuretech in Dublin (Die Mobiliar)

By establishing an insurance Start up in Dublin we aim to build a fully digital pan-European add-on insurance business which will provide insurance solutions by accessing digital customer transactions.


To expand our team in Dublin we are looking for a Business Analyst / IT Specialist 100%. 


Key responsibilities


  • Taking end-to-end technical ownership of digital journey implementation, incl. solution development, business analysis, technical integration & lifecycle support

  • Eliciting, analyzing, prioritizing, and communicating technical requirements for insurance solutions

  • Coordinating with main technology partners to implement new features and solutions against tight development timelines in an agile development mode

  • Representing Anavon's technical solutions towards our distribution partners on an operational level

  • Accompanying partner onboarding processes from a technical perspective

  • Working with implementation partners to design software solutions integrated into overall software landscape

  • Supporting Insurance Solution Manager to shape solution development roadmap

  • Serving as second-level support for technical incidents and coordinate with technology partners to resolve incidents

  • Own and further develop technical documentation of partner-facing and internal applications and APIs

  • Qualifications


  • Ideally 3+ years of experience in requirements engineering, tech project management, and/or software architecture

  • Familiarity with modern core insurance (or similar, e.g. banking) and ancillary systems

  • Proven experience in modern web development (frontend/backend), with good understanding of Java-based backend architecture patterns (e.g., micro-services)

  • Deep experience in SaaS technology management, incl. API management, versioning, documentation

  • Fluency in English, other European languages a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Master's degree a plus
